There are 18 recipes, all tested by George and Annette (see George's Story). Each recipe includes a list of ingredients (in blue), instructions for preparation (in green), and nutritional information including portion size and carb count (in black).
In addition, there is a list of common cooking utensils you will need.

How it works
For the most part, the recipes use ingredients you probably have in your home, or can easily find at your local grocery store.
Simply select the recipe you want to make; open the book to that page; and stand it on the counter.
Collect your ingredients; follow the directions; and have fun!
And remember, cooking should be fun, not stressful. If you don't like or have one ingredient, try substituting something similar, for example instead of tomatoes use catchup. See what you and your child can create.
And, there is an address if you want to share your own recipes for use in the next cookbook.
